Lying is often done to give a first impression in dating couples.
But not infrequently, in order to appear attractive, no taboo dating couples lie. Men are more likely to lie about relationship status and employment on a date to show that they are man's dream.
But how to know that dating couples lie? Dr Paul Seagar, Senior Lecturer and Forensic Psychology at the University of Central Lancashire said, "A little lie for a date that does not mean anything bad, because we all want to look better."
He stated, there are some easy ways to tell if your date is lying or not, as quoted from Yourtango:
1. Ask direct questions
The answer to the question "Are you interested in long-term relationship?" fewer from the "yes or no" may mean he is lying.
If the claim was surprised by your question and is still evasive, try asking in the second or third question. If he still refuses to answer or even ask if you think he is lying, then you deserve to doubt his honesty.
2.Trying longer eye contact
A seasoned liar who know eye contact is important to convince you. So, he will try to make eye contact longer. Staring lovingly and tell you they love you does not mean he is being honest.
3. Body language
Nonverbal cues quite tell when the he was lying. Throughout the date, his body looks relaxed. But suddenly stiff when he told her that her relationship status single question. Then this may indicate that he was not entirely honest.
. Verbal and vocal cues
When he answered your question in detail, it is more likely to say something honest. However, if the answer is general and without strangeness or too short, he is probably lying. Or, he many times to repeat the words, he is more likely than not honest when using the vocabulary more.
5. Try to distinguish behavior when dating
Notice how he acted and spoke as he relaxed and truthful. You can compare this with his behavior when he gave an answer that is not convincing. If there are significant differences between the two behaviors, it is possible he is being dishonest act.
Dr Seagar warned, five things not to apply to everyone. But in general, there are signs when someone tries to deceive you.
